Jessica Zadjura Selected For 2024 Maryland Super Lawyers
Zadjura Family Law is proud to announce that our very own Jessica Zadjura has been selected as a 2024 Super Lawyer. From 2016-2021, the Super Lawyers publication has recognized Jessica as a Maryland Rising Star in the family law practice area, and this year, for the first time, she has been selected as a Super Lawyer. She was also named to the National Academy of Family Law Attorneys' Top 10 Attorneys Under 40 list in 2014. Super Lawyers is a service that rates exceptional lawyers from over 70 practice areas who have achieved a high level of recognition and professional success. The selection process involves independent research, peer nominations, and evaluations from peers.
The Rising Stars list follows the same guidelines as the Super Lawyers list but is reserved for attorneys who exhibit excellence in practice and fall into one of two categories: 40 years old and younger or have been practicing for less than ten years. In the State of Maryland, no more than 5% of lawyers achieve the honor of being a Super Lawyer each year, and no more than 2.5% are selected as a Rising Star.
Jessica has a rich background in various family law practice areas and understands the challenges that come with family law issues. As a child of divorce, growing up with five siblings in a blended family, a wife, a mother, and a stepmother, she knows firsthand how difficult these situations can be for families. Jessica is an experienced family law attorney who can guide her clients through every step of the legal process, whether in or out of court. She has worked as a litigator, mediator, and child attorney, using her personal experiences and legal knowledge to help families determine the best approach for their unique situations.
Jessica received her Bachelor of Arts degree in criminal justice from the University of Maryland and her Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law. She has also completed 40-hour mediation training and 20-hour mediation training in child custody and marital property, as required by the Maryland Rules of Court, to act as a third-party neutral and mediate various family law matters. Additionally, she has completed the best interest attorney training required by the Maryland Rules of Court to serve as a court-appointed child attorney.
“I am honored to be recognized by my peers. This recognition reflects my commitment to providing compassionate legal representation to my clients. I will continue striving to protect their interests and achieve positive resolutions during challenging times.”
